This really stayed with me, especially the part about not hiding yourself. Do whatever you want to do and do it confidently. Trust yourself that you can figure things out along the way. You may not know everything in the beginning, but slowly, you will figure it out. And maybe that confidence can change the way you think, work, speak, and live. 🤍🫶
Honestly, there have been quite a few things. There were times when I thought I wouldn’t be able to learn something or handle a situation, but I started anyway and slowly figured it out. I think that’s what I’m learning now too: sometimes you just have to take the next step, even when you don’t know the whole path yet. 🤍
I really relate to this. Some of the things I am the most proud of started with me thinking, “I have no idea how I am going to do this.” Then somehow, step by step, I did 🙏🏼
Thank you so much!! This means so, so much to me 🥹
I really wanted these lessons to feel useful beyond my own story, and maybe inspire others to notice the lessons they are learning from the people around them too 🫂
Which of the three lessons did you connect with the most?

Yes!! This is exactly what Ker taught me. Don’t underestimate your knowledge.
You are capable, and even if you feel frightened, trust yourself to figure it out along the way 🤍
What is something you once thought you couldn’t do but figured out anyway?

This is excellent! Congrats on great writing and on telling a story filled with three helpful insights that will be helpful to many people!

All three are right on the money. I practice them myself. Well done!
That makes me so happy to hear.
I love that you already practice all three🙏🏼
You nailed it!!
Hope they get to see your article and realise how wonderful people they're and how lucky to have a friend like you..🫶🏻
This means so much 🫶🏼 I really hope they do.
I feel incredibly lucky to have crossed paths with them and to have learned so much from simply watching them be themselves.
I remember you wrote about loving someone and how that heartbreak ended up teaching you some of your greatest lessons.
Although I am not sure if you ever told them🫢 But I think the most important thing is that we carry those lessons with us for life.
I love that my words made you feel seen 🫂
Ker taught me to trust in my capabilities.
That I can do it, even when I do not know how yet. I will figure it out along the way.
May I ask, do you trust yourself now, or are you still learning to? 🫶
